Welcome to Metamorphosis Monday. This fun "Before and After" event is hosted by our friend, Susan at Between Naps on the Porch. Please stop by Susan's blog and get a full list of all Met Monday participants.
There are several areas of my home that have perplexed me. No matter what I did to tweak these spaces - they just didn't look good or feel right. A wall in my breakfast area is just one of these spaces.
I love the distressed, black painted plate rack...and I love the vintage, English prints...I even loved the items on the plate rack - just not collectively. It needed a change! And BAD!
By the way - can you see the price tags? (why they thought three tags was needed I am not sure.) Three bucks each! Yoohoo
Also, remember the black and white Toile plates I showcased in Paula Deen's store? Well....picture the two prints with four of those plates.....and you get.....
The black and white striped towels are finds from the Dollar Store.
I am quite happy with this wall vignette for now. I may play around with some different plates - but I am definitely going to call Webster's tomorrow and request that they remove that pic from the dictionary beside the word "boring." :-)
Don't forget this Wednesday is the monthly edition of What's On Your Wall Wednesday. I have some new plates I will be sharing. I look forward to seeing what wonderful Wallscapes and treasures you have to share. Mr. Linky will be up by 9pm on Tuesday night.
Have a Wonderful Week Dear Friends.....Barb
