Tag! You're It!

My good friend, Kim, over at Manning Family Tree has tagged me with a Photo Challenge. I have been tagged like this before, but its always fun to do. Here are the rules:

1) Go to your photo files...Select the 6th photo folder

2)Select the 6th photo in that folder

3)Post that photo along with the story behind it.

4) Then challenge 6 blog friends to do the same!

Here is my 6th pic in my 6th folder....

It's a beautiful ceiling, huh? Well, at least I hope you think so. This is one of my last faux finishing jobs I completed before we moved back to NC, and while we were still living in Colorado. It is a colorwashed ceiling using about four different glazes. I love adding color and design to a ceiling, but I hate what it does to your neck. LOL
The picture does not show the full detail, but there is a copper metalic glaze included here. I love using metallic glazes to add just a touch of sparkle.
Now for the "tag-ees"...

  6. Beautiful ceiling! I bet that is terrible on the neck - just painting a ceiling normally is a neck breaker! Have a great day. Sally
