My good friend, Kim, over at Manning Family Tree has tagged me with a Photo Challenge. I have been tagged like this before, but its always fun to do. Here are the rules:
1) Go to your photo files…Select the 6th photo folder
2)Select the 6th photo in that folder
3)Post that photo along with the story behind it.
4) Then challenge 6 blog friends to do the same!
Here is my 6th pic in my 6th folder….
It’s a beautiful ceiling, huh? Well, at least I hope you think so. This is one of my last faux finishing jobs I completed before we moved back to NC, and while we were still living in Colorado. It is a colorwashed ceiling using about four different glazes. I love adding color and design to a ceiling, but I hate what it does to your neck. LOL
The picture does not show the full detail, but there is a copper metalic glaze included here. I love using metallic glazes to add just a touch of sparkle.
Now for the “tag-ees”…
1) Marty at A Stroll Thru Life
2) KD at Southern Whimsy
3) Robin at Alabama Slacker Mama
4) Lorna at Lace and Ivy Cottage
5) Chari at Happy to Design
6) Mona at Wsprsweetly of Cottages
Tag!!! You’re It!!!

Beautiful ceiling! I bet that is terrible on the neck – just painting a ceiling normally is a neck breaker! Have a great day. Sally
