All of us who are hosting the
Egg-xellent Spring Party
would like to say a big, hearty
Welcome!
I am very egg-xited to get this event started,
and I can't wait to see what everyone has in store.
Marty at A Stroll Thru Life is our first hostess with
A Spring-Inspired Cloche Party.
Thanks, Marty!
If you remember about a week or so ago, I shared
my version of a Terrarium.
I called it my "Inside-Out Terrarium."
You can see the full story HERE.
My little Target birds felt right at home nestled within
the greenery and moss.
My original thinking was that I could put the entire
planting under a large cloche. But, not only did it
look awkward, it looked like I had literally
squished everything under a glass dome.
Uh Oh! Plan B.
What? There is NO Plan B?
But I need to get my blog post written and published
TONIGHT! How about Plan C? D? Okay, I'll
settle for Plan E, F or G.
I threw on my Home Shopping Cape and off I went.
I found a darling little Bunny rabbit salt and pepper shaker
sitting in a cute ceramic basket. hmmm.....
I have some leftover Dollar Store Eggs. Check.
Small cloche. Check, Check.
Well that's cute!
I think this just might work.
What if I took the bunnies out and just nestled them
amongst the moss and eggs?
Egggggcellent!
Look at those sweet little darlings.
I appropriately named them Harriet and Henry O'Hare.
I tucked in a blossom or two from my Spring bouquet...
and then a Cloche Project isn't complete
without the CLOCHE, huh?
without the CLOCHE, huh?
Suddenly, I had a cute "Bunnies Under Glass" Cloche.
I think some of my favorite projects are the ones
where I can "Upcycle."
where I can "Upcycle."
I will probably use this on my breakfast room table
as a centerpiece. I love the way it turned out.
The same items are on the blue-painted chest,
such as the little white teapot...
But, now this Inside-Out Terrarium is fresh and new
thanks to Harriet and Henry O'Hare.
Please "hop" on over to
A Stroll Thru Life, and join Marty for her
Spring Cloche Party.
This Thursday, please join
Shirley at Housepitality Designs for a
Spring Tablescape Party.

Don't forget about my

What a unique way to incorporate a cloche within a greenery arrangement, Barb! Henry and Harriet look right at home in there. Wanted to say thanks for your very sweet comment on my cloches. Putting them together was a bit last minute this afternoon- I'm always late -just like that rabbit in Alice in Wonderland! haha
ReplyDeleteBarb,
ReplyDeleteLove your Cloche with the sweet little bunnies in the greenery.
Pat
Very creative I like the bunniy that looks like it is hanging over the egg. Pretty cloche.
