planning their July 4th Celebrations.
Hot dogs? Iced Tea? Fireworks?
Our celebration honestly, is TBD by this extreme heat.
We will make the call tomorrow whether or not we
move forward as planned, have a smaller affair inside,
or try to start at a much later time on a much smaller
scale when the temperatures are more tolerable.
scale when the temperatures are more tolerable.
Tomorrow, I am going to put up our outside decor,
porch flags, etc – because either way I want our home to
project just how proud and how much we love this
great Country.
I thought I would share some of my favorite
4th of July pins.
For the kids, these patriotic rice krispy treats –
A yummy beverage for kids and adults too…
A dressed-up Pineapple Lemonade. yum!
A fun red, white and blue cake!
A simple fruit pie takes on an All-American flair!
Glass mason jars as silverware holders.
Coffee cans, cleverly decorated with punched-out
designs and paint.
I love decor and food ideas which are easy and don’t take
a lot of money or time to complete.

I love your 4th presentations here, Barb! What fun ideas. I am definitely making the 4th of July cake (the pan cake with the strawberries for stripes and the blueberries in the star field).
Pineapple lemonade? Who knew? xo Diana
