I'm back! We had an absolutely amazing trip to
Florida, and while I won't bore you with a lot of family pictures and videos, I will share two...
My two sweet Grandloves....
... and my precious Miss C, sporting a set of pink Mouse ears, of course.
It was a great week spent with my Family and it was much needed.
But, I have to say - it was great to get back HOME! I am loving this North Carolina Fall weather. The pumpkins have officially arrived.
Before we left, I shared with you my
Today, I want to share with you my Fall Hutch.
You know, it's kinda funny. Even when you are away from home - even when you are seeing sites that take your breath...
My mind is always at "home."
Even when Mickey Mouse is marching right by you...
You still feel that a part of you is back home...
To me - home will always be the most important place in my heart.
Because even though you see giant killer whales performing great feats in the water...
...and Woody from Toy Story comes to life right in front of you...
Your most valued memories are at Home. Like celebrating an Anniversary over the phone when your husband is deployed thousands of miles across the world...
Or, getting at call at 1am that your daughter-in-law has gone into labor with your third grandlove.
And yes, vacations offer their own memories, that is for sure...
(note the blue mouth/teeth from blue icee) :)
Cause really, its kinda hard to beat dancing dolphins....
But, when you think of all of the memories that encompass your life and your loved ones...
- and yes, even your furry loved ones...who stand guard over your home while you are gone and cover your face with "kisses" when you return
(after a requisite amount of pouting and cold shoulders that is)
At the end of your trip, when you are so tuckered you can hardly go another step...
...you head home with bags of dirty laundry, a few extra pounds than you left home with, and a camera full of goofy pics...
... you walk into the front door, and your heart instantly warms -
- because you are HOME!
Now aren't you glad all I did was show you my Fall decorated hutch, and not a bunch of boring vacay pics?
:)
