Barbara,That is best word in the universe as far as I am concerned. My daughter is hosting Thanksgiving this year. Our family are all traveling to Ky which is going home for me.
Barb- You go girl! Yep– so so excited for you in this new adventure! You will rock it..You are a natural in front of the camera and you have a great voice! I loved this post about your Thanksgiving Day..sounds pretty close to perfect! Jen
HOME!!! Yes, a very powerful and important word. Especially to someone who moved about all of her childhood . My children , home and the Mr. are the most important things in my life. Thanksgiving… we are hardly ever home for it. Usually on a cruise in the Caribbean, or at a resort in Orlando when the boys were little… this year we plan on being in St. Augustine Florida. Dinner will be done by some rest. But I am planning to make a full on turkey meal for the Sunday after. I am feeling a longing for turkey and all the trimmings!!!Good luck on the new venture Looking forward…Cheers, Gee
Hi my sweet friend! I love the word HOME, too. What a lot of impact packed into 4 small letters. Way beyond what one would believe. Would you believe we celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday because all of our kids could be here? We did- and it was wonderful and just a little weird to be celebrating so early.Congrats on your new adventure! I am looking forward to it- xo Diana
Wonderful Barbara! I am so excited about you new video adventure!!!! I’ll be watching and learning and taking notes, for sure!!!!I so enjoyed the picture you paint of your home at Thanksgiving. HOME is a four-letter word to love!!!
Reading your words made my mouth start watering! I am going to bake the cornbread today for our dressing. It needs to be “old” to work the best. And oh how I love fresh collard greens and they are soooooo good for you too. Hope you will give us the recipe for the bread pudding….yum!
I meant banana pudding! oh my…that sounds so so good!
Barb, your home always looks fabulous! Today you’ve made my stomach growl at 9 in the morning!! Hugs, Beth@WelcomeLaneDesigns
I love this Barb, and you made me so hungry with all the smells of good things cooking. My house will smell like that too and I can’t wait. Hope your new venture turns out for you. Hugs, Marty
