Welcome to Home{work} Wednesday #17
This heat is killing me! Or, I should say the humidity.
I should be in full-blown pumpkin mode, and instead I feel like I am
in full-blown sweat mode. It’s hard to be Fall-ish when you’re
“glistening” like a pig.
But, I love seeing all the fabulous Fall inspiration that was
posted last week.
There was so much Fall goodness – I have added another
“Quick Peek” Category –
Fall{work}
So let’s get going…
Food{work}
Craft{work}
Furniture{work}
Room{work}
Fall{work}
All of these “Quick-Peeks” can be found at last week’s party.
So if you see something that interests you…just hop over HERE to find it.
Sweet Pat at Back Porch Musings has incredible taste, and when
it comes to tablescapes – she is always a winner. This Fall
design is no exception. Love!
Amy at The Blissful Bee shares how she used her Waverly fabric to
create these stunning pillows above.
3) How to Burnish Faux Pumpkins
My sweet friend, Jane, at Cottage at the Crossroads shows us how to turn
inexpensive pumpkins and gourds into these brilliant, burnished works
of art. They’re no longer plain-“Janes.”
Suzy at Simply Vintageous shares a home that is for sale in
Scotland. Since this is one of the places I dream to retire to one day,
I was enamored with this home. Love that tiny door under the
staircase.
2) Double-Chocolate/Double-Nut Zucchini Bread
Um… yes please. Oh my!
Penny at Penny’s Treasures shares her recipe for a Zucchini Bread that
looks absolutely mouth-watering, lick-your-plate good.
Ms Moozy at Ms Moozy’s Open House shows us how she and her
family dealt with coat and backpack pile-up at the front door.
I think we’ve all had to deal with that issue at some time or another.
This is a beautiful way to deal with the clutter.
So…that’s the Features for the Week.
I know, I know. So much to take in and so many great projects to see.
If you were featured here today, please feel free to grab
the “I Was Featured” Button to add to your sidebar.
So are you ready for Show ‘n Tell?
I know we are ready to see what you have brought to “school.”
Please make sure you link back to at least one of the host blogs…
Here at The Everyday Home, Atta Girl Says,
Marty’s Musings or Worthing Court.
I can’t wait to see “Who Makes the Grade” next week!
xxoo, Barb
Never forget those who so needlessly perished on that horrific day in American history.
Never forget those who gave all, and became Heroes at the end of the day.
Never forget those who attacked us and came to our shores to cause us harm and evil.
Never forget how we came together as a Country – partisanship aside.
Never forget how we were all – just Americans.
Never forget!

Thanks so much for the outstanding grade and featuring my funky little chair! I have to say that this one has given me more pleasure than anything I have done in a long time, even though it took forever. Thanks so much, ladies, for hosting the party each week.

Hmmm — I left a comment thanking you ladies for the feature and the party — don’t see it. The page jammed up when I hit post comment, so I don’t know if it got there. So — again, thank you for the wonderful grade! And for having a party.
