When it comes to nature, there are some things which have been
naturally paired together – and who would ever question what
Mother Nature does right?
For example, what would the mountains be without a waterfall?
When you think of the beach, its only natural that you think
of seashells…
Mother Nature is one smart cookie.
There are just some things that are perfect together….bringing two
halves to make a whole.
Planters Peanuts recently asked me to share their newest
campaign with you, “The Power of the Peanut.”
I mean, think of the small peanut – it has this cute, little shell –
and once you crack it open there are two little nuts that have
grown next to each other, and fit together perfectly.
It is a Gift from Nature.
We eat a lot of peanuts around here. They are packed with
7 grams of protein and 6 essential vitamins. My little guys
love them right out of the can as a quick snack.
(speaking of the perfect pair…)
Trust me – this Grammy appreciates a quick and easy snack that is
also nutritious.
Next week, I will share a great recipe we made together using
Planters Peanuts and pumpkin seeds to make a fabulous Fall
Trail mix. Now I know you would not usually think of pairing
peanuts with pumpkin seeds – but when you see this Trail Mix
combination, you will know – it’s the perfect pair that Mother
Nature didn’t think about. (sorry Mom Nature!)
And speaking about “The Perfect Pair”…I have the flu and my
sweet hubby, who is getting over the flu – is playing nursemaid
and taking special care of me. We are “in it for the long haul.”
We are like two peas in a pod…or maybe I should say two
peanuts in a shell.
FYI, Planters Peanuts would love it if you would like them
on Facebook.
I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective and the content and
opinions expressed here are all my own.
Have a fantastic weekend everyone… make sure you check back
here tomorrow for No-Sew Showcase: Halloween Edition..
I can’t wait to share my No-Sew Creepy-Gauzy Mantel Scarf
with you!
