Swirls of Winter Snowflakes Project.
Happy New Year friends of
The Everyday Home!
Have you been out perusing the department stores
for those after Christmas deals & steals?
You know…..
the amazing deals where you find the
‘can’t live without’ white twinkle light trees
for 80% off and you become all giddy inside
because you know you have that extra coupon
that will bring your final total to zero bucks
out of your pocket.
Happy Dance.
I found these exact trees for my winter-themed mantel!
Be sure to check them out at the end of this post.
I love a good budget-friendly DIY don’t you?
I am sharing how I created my swirls of winter
snowflakes, so let’s get started.
1. Supplies– Buttons, specifically Ice and snowflake.
Clear banister clips. Adhesive, E6000. Ribbon.
2. Process– Layout the pattern you would like for your snowflake.
Once you have the layout, place adhesive on the areas of the banister clips that will touch
each other. Let dry. Once dry, embellish with buttons. Attach ribbon for hanging.
3. Add to your decor– These snowflakes can be
hung anywhere to decorate for the winter season.
Grab some suction cups and hang on the windows.
String them to hang from your dining room chandelier.
Add ribbon and display above a winter themed mantel as shown.
Hope you enjoyed this simple project to infuse
winter into your home.

Sue, banister clips can be found at Lowe’s or any other home improvement store. The clips hold garland in place.
