Welcome Back to Farmhouse Friday:
Christmas Edition.
What an absolutely fabulous week it has been here at
The Everyday Home.
Tours and Cookie Exchanges and Craft Showcases and
even more tours. The Christmas love has poured through.
Yesterday, I participated in one of my favorite tours,
I joined in with nine other bloggers to share our love of Farmhouse.
There was so much Farmhouse Beauty shared by this group
of beautiful ladies, I knew I had to do a recap.
So without further ado…
I won’t bore you with my tour, but here are a few pics from
my tour yesterday…
Starting on my porch- I shared my new Tobacco Basket…
And a few of the Farmhouse touches inside my Kitchen
and Breakfast Room…
Debbie at Confessions of a Plate Addict shared her gorgeous
Farmhouse-style Dining Room Table and Hutch…
Isn’t this just lovely?
She used a vintage galvanized toolbox tray as a centerpiece…
Just look how stunning her hutch is…
My friend Yvonne at Stone Gable has the most beautiful home and
she really created a Farmhouse feel this year…
She used lots of greenery in containers interspersed
throughout her kitchen and her home, to create a natural feel.
Black and white and pops of green from pretty cypress trees set
the color scheme…
Love how she used ordinary white bowls as containers
for the trees.
Jennifer at Town and Country Living experiences a real
Farmhouse on a daily basis. (yes, I am jealous)
One of my favorite (she calls it quirky) features of her home
is this small window at the bottom of the stairs.
And look at her Dining Room?
Is this Farmhouse or what???
I was tickled pink to discover City Farmhouse several months
ago, and it has quickly become one of my fave blogs.
I think you will see why…
Jen has a unique style that is carefree and warm and above all else –
it exudes Farmhouse style.
I made several “notes to self” to recreate some of these looks next year.
I even love her gift packaging ideas. <3
Andrea at Keeping It Cozy is also living the Farmhouse Dream.
Her blog is all about her family’s life in a Southern
8o-year old farmhouse.
Wait until you see her porch and be prepared to
be envious.
I warned ya’.
My beautiful friend Lucy at Craftberry Bush shares an
abundance of Farmhouse style on her blog.
This week she shares 8 Easy Styling Tips…
Lucy is the absolute Queen of layering, and she tells you
how you can achieve this look, too.
I personally think she should re-name her blog
Fabulous Bush! Don’t you?
Sweet Pat’s home is one of those places you would love to
sit and visit and spend all day drinking coffee and chatting.
Don’t you just love her dining room chairs?
Pat’s Tablescapes are like no other and her
Farmhouse Christmas Table is not to be missed.
This year they visited a really old log cabin decorated for
Christmas. You have to see this beautiful, historical building.
Love!
Cedar Hill Farmhouse
Finally, I am sharing my friend Anita’s beautiful home,
Cedar Hill Farmhouse.
Anita just built a new home but it features so many
vintage-style features.
I love her Christmas decorating philosphy.
She doesn’t use a lot of Christmas decorations per say,
but uses lots of ribbons and fresh greenery within her
everyday decor.
So that’s it. A nice little wrap-up of over
30 Farmhouse Christmas Ideas.
I’d love for you to pin this…
Also, thanks to the other eight ladies for joining me in
A Farmhouse Christmas and for letting me share their homes.
Please make sure you visit them to see even more
awe-inspiring Farmhouse Decor.
I hope each of you has a safe and blessed weekend.

Hi Barb!
I love every one of your featured bloggers. I too did the Farmhouse approach to decorating this year and have been having a ball tweaking and making my own.
Hope you have a truly wonderful Christmas.
