Christmas 2013.
My friends, whether you are ready or not…it’s on the way.
I can’t lie. I am all pumpkin’d out.
I made great strides today in Operation Organize My House.
I went through EIGHT bins of Fall Decor, and sorted it down to 4.
I have a pile for the local Consignment Store, and another pile
for The Salvation Army.
Tomorrow?
I pull out the Christmas bins and do the same to them.
I am hoping if I organize myself before I start putting up my
Christmas decor, the job will be easier and go quickly.
But, if you still need that extra boost to get you thru
Thanksgiving, you are in luck.
I am sponsoring a “Virtual” Progressive Thanksgiving
Dinner Party this Thursday and Friday.
From printables to appetizers and main dishes and desserts and decor.
Lots of ideas to inspire you to have one of the best Thanksgiving
celebrations ever, so please join us.
I will be sharing an easy Thanksgiving Centerpiece, and will have
the full schedule of all participating blogs.
This week’s Co-Host is Anita with Cedar Hill Farmhouse.
Anita has some announcements as well as this week’s Features.
ps – if you want a little early Christmas Inspiration,
please take a tour of my home for
The Everyday Home 2012 Christmas Tour.
Hi it’s Anita from Cedar Hill Farmhouse here with some news
before we start the scoop.
I love this party!! I might have mentioned that before,
but it’s true!!
And one of the perks of being in The Scoop is working with
some fabulous, fun, and talented women. So it is with a
heavy heart I am announcing that Linsey from Farmhouse Porch
is leaving the Scoop.
I LOVE her, and will miss her here, but she lives in the area,
so I’ll still get to see her in person. I hope you will continue to
visit her even though she won’t be helping us host the scoop
any more. I totally understand too, she’s got young kids and a
demanding job, we understand.
So are you ready for the announcement of who
our new host is?
It’s Yvonne from Stone Gable!! We LOVE Yvonne!
She will be joining us beginning next week. Please come
back next week to welcome her to The Scoop.
And one more thing for those of you that might have missed
my announcement, my free ebook,
8 Ways to Add Farmhouse French Style is now available.
Click HERE to get your copy.
Here are the features from last week’s party.
Before we get to the linky party this week, I wanted to
mention our home tour on creating fall vignettes.
We’ve had 5 days with 25 ways to create fall vignettes.
The thing I really like about our tour is that it focuses on the
“how to” so you can walk away with some valuable tips,
not just eye candy.

So much inspiration I could stay here all day. The Mr. wouldn’t get dinner on time and the laundry would remain in a heap, but I’d be in decorating heaven!
